Your skin is healing from a controlled wound—aftercare is key to achieving safe, smooth results.
First 24–48 Hours (Critical Healing Phase)
- Keep it 100% Dry– No water, steam, sweat, or humidity
- Hands Off – No rubbing, touching, or picking
- No Makeup or Skincare – Let the area breathe, product-free
- Avoid Heat & Sunlight – No workouts, saunas, or sun exposure
Daily Care (Days 1–7)
- Healing Balm (If Advised)– Only use what your technician recommends
- No Harsh Skincare– Avoid acids, exfoliants, or actives
- Don’t Pick Scabs– Let them fall off naturally to prevent scarring
- Clean Gently (If Allowed)– Only with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser after 48 hrs (with technician’s OK)
Long-Term Care (Days 7–14+)
- Moisturize – Hydrate the area once fully healed
- Daily SPF 30+– Prevent hyperpigmentation
- Be Patient – Several sessions maybe needed for full results
- Follow up – Let your technician assess your progress
Watch for Warning Signs
- Excessive redness, swelling, or pain
- Yellow/green discharge (possible infection)
- Delayed healing or severe scarring
